Fouke Water Supply Corporation is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Manager.  The Assistant Manager will report to the General Manager and assist the General Manager in the day to day operations of the water utility.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal agencies
  • Attend Board and other meetings as necessary
  • Prepare and submit reports to local, state, and federal agencies
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • General accounting
  • Address employee and customer complaints and resolve issues that may occur
  • Any other duties that may be required by the General Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, analyze and understand contracts
  • Interpret engineering plans and specifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to write detailed reports and business correspondence
  • Knowledge of Rules and Regulations within the water utility industry
  • Knowledge and ability to work with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of general business accounting practices

Education and Professional Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • A TCEQ Class "C" Groundwater License or higher
  • A minimum of five years’ management/supervisory experience in the water utility industry
  • A valid Texas Driver's License

The applicant must be highly motivated and detailed oriented.  Some travel will be required to attend training and to receive continuing education credits. Salary will depend on education and qualifications.
